Acer's Aspire laptops work, though the wireless on some of them (Atheros AR5BXB63) needs ndiswrapper. Which is rather annoying, as it was apparently supported fine until some as yet unfixed bug appeared in madwifi. Also, the wireless and bluetooth lights don't work (yet), and it appears there might be some design issues with the lid switch. But these can all be worked around.

+1 for Zepto and more especially the 6214W.

Does your soundcard work properly? I mean, for example when i start supertux or warsow the volume is like maximum, although PCM is at 50%?
