@X-Tream:
No, currently there is no repository offering the package. You can use my PKGBUILD (posted earlier in this thread) and build your own WINE-package.

Had some problems, will upload them tomorrow

Everybody can now use my repo...
To set it up look at the page "Arch91 on my personal site I made today: http://elwario91.tuxfamily.org/
Please give feedback, thanks

thanks elwario91, I too have noticed the slowness of updating especially the wine package, which is the kind of package i would expect one to notice if out-of-date. Now I hope you will update more frequently

Perhaps we can move wine to [community]. This way the package could be easily updated by any TU. But this has to be discussed with the current maintainer. (I never used wine and I don`t know if its an important app to many people)

test1000: every wine package will now be updated the day itself, are your fonts bold in winecfg?
Pierre: Wine is important, I think, but if available in my repo or the communiity will result in the same thing... if it is available, there's no problem

elwario91: no my fonts aren't bold, but i remember having that exact issue a while back. don't know what i did to fix it... have you tried deleting your .wine dir?

Pierre: thanks that would be best solution i think.
elwario91 : Do not take it to yourself (thanks for caring for wine package and your effort) ,but to me it makes diffrence if package is in [community] of in some external repo.

Anybody its own opinion but it's sure that having it in community is better for everybody

elwario91:
I add the
[arch91]
Server = http://download.tuxfamily.org/arch91/
to my pacman.conf and if i type pacman -Sy it tells me
Fehler: failed retrieving file 'arch91.db.tar.gz' from download.tuxfamily.org : Not Found
EDIT: i just edited the "[arch91]" to [elwario91] and now it works

@elwario: Could you please explain how you fixed the bold fonts problem? I just ran into it myself
Offline
Do you have this fonts problem, if this is the case then you have too much fonts packages installed
Offline
Ahh, thanks!
Offline
No I don't think it is the problem
Maybe that it is an issue in the released version, if the next version still has the issue then it is not normal

Hmm, I looked into it a little:
I used a chroot to build wine, after I tried once and had that problem, I came across fnlib(it's in current)
current/fnlib 0.5-4
Font rendering library for X11
I installed it on my chroot and compiled again, this time it worked flawlessly and the fonts look normal
Maybe that's it?
EDIT: after looking in my /var/log/pacman.log I noticed I also installed fontconfig before my 2nd build attempt, so I'm not sure which one(if any) was the problem, I'll try building it again without each of them and see what happens.

Fontconfig is needed!
Will build a new package tomorrow and update it, thanks

Glad I could help! I hope it works

Sorry made a little mistake, fontconfig isn't needed, it is fontforge
I am building

I really think something has changed with the new Wine version!
Tried everything to remove the bold fonts, but when compiling the previous version I don't have bold fonts...
Offline
Hmm, I guess we'll have to wait for .42 and see what happens
Offline
Wine package has been updated in the official repo and it has the same issue, so Wine is the problem and not the build!
Will have to wait 42 to see if it will stay bold (ugly)
