GTK theme: Dyne
Metacity theme: Rezlooks
Fonts: snap, Dejavu fonts
Icons: Tango (duh)

Note that the font color in the terminal is only to make this screenshot look pretty. It's advisable to set gnome-terminal's color profile to black on white rather than using the theme defaults.

Every time I try out Xfce I end up falling in love with it. It's so light and nice looking, plus so compatible with Gnome, that Gnome quickly becomes useless. The only thing I miss are the 3 menus Gnome provides.

Have you tried using "xfce4-xfapplet-plugin" which is in the extras repo, it should let you use gnome applets in the xfce panel.  I don't use Xfce so I'm not too sure if it works or not.

I made a lot of desktop transitions and I finally decided that openbox + pypanel is the best for me smile. Compiz annoyed me.

Does anyone know a lightweight launcher bar smile?
