Tint?! It is that text editor? Or not? plz tell more about tint and about text editor in that pic.

As others had said for me, the editor is gvim, the task manager at bottom is tint.

I just set up Arch64 on my desktop and I thought I'd post a screenshot.
Fairly minimal setup: openbox, pypanel, conky...

That looks like the perfect Openbox theme, what's it called?  Also, would you mind posting your .Xdefaults and .pypanelrc files?

Its one I've made myself (along with the gtk theme), but haven't released yet. I haven't had the time to work out the last few little things that annoy me.

Also, that Carbon theme was by yours truly. Thats my little friend "Rufus" in the box-look screenshot.

It is kind of inconspicuous wink  I like it in particular because it blends nicely with "nu" font (from artwiz-fonts, or whatever the package is called) which I use for window titles and menu in Openbox.

I guess I have a special skill for picking openbox themes made by Arch users.  The theme I use on my laptop, called "simple" turned out to be the work of Roberth, see page 2 of this thread or thereabouts...  Bit of a dejavu experience for me wink

Very nice theme (and cute dog!) - thanks!

Re: August 2007 Screenshots

I agree, it looks slick in the menus.  I'm trying to figure out how you have a 1 or 2 px space under pypanel.  I'd like to have it float a few pixels from the top or bottom of the screen.

You'll need to patch pypanel.  This thread explains how: link

Hey

Just one question, where can I find this script which almost everybody uses here to display OS, kernel and some other details?

Thanks in advance.

Re: August 2007 Screenshots

fwojciec: thanks for the tip and pypanel is now patched... it's funny because the Simple theme is one of my all time favourites.
babypuncher: great work, it's one of my fav's as well.

How do you get your fonts to look like that?  What font?  I'm guessing you have a fonts.conf file I could have..please? smile  Can I have a copy of you .pypanelrc as well?
