Well, the only windows apps people run are games (most of the time), everything else I can think of has an equal or better linux equivalent.

For Power Tab Editor there is IMHO no linux app that's equal.
And it does not run 100% in wine. :-(
for games I use my Xbox ;-)
I also use Windows for music recording with CuBase.
I had a look at Ardour but I don't like it and I think there are no drivers for my recording hardware in linux...

There's also Rosegarden which is more similar to Cubase as for look and feel... good luck for your drivers ![]()
