Playing/testing with Arch Linux 2007.08-2 x64 on my PC. I am currently evaluating various window managers but do not have one set to load via my .xinitrc, so this is what my computer looks like when I first start X11 (in other words, it defaults to being window managerless). The background is set by Feh, the terminal is Xterm, the clock is Xclock, and the screenshot was taken with Scrot.

That is the problem with dark themes if you use the rezlooks-engine.  That is why I used the one based on the gtk-xfce-engine.  If you like minimal and simple theme, download royalty if you like http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show. … tent=67866 and modify it instead.

For the Arch logo, i use OpenLogos font.

Emerald theme: Apotheosis modified by me

GTK Theme: Glory-Simplex

I didnt set awn to auto hide because the animation is crap and i cant tweak for now.

Ion3. I'd been using KDE for a long time and wanted something lighter. I've used tiling window managers in the past and liked the experience, so I spent a little time and now I have an Ion3 that does nearly all the useful stuff that KDE does (automounting, notifications with XOSD, image previews, etc.).
