No.. no dust bin.. not yet ![]()
Honestly, I just learned a couple of things about TM, so let's just let it cool down a bit. But as the original poster said "Thanks for enlightenment".
It just may be the word "trade" in TM which makes it seem like a money maker, but the (whatever) logo itself really is a "mark" of the "trade" you will get if you get the product the logo is representing. The trade here with arch doesn't (obviously) mean you have to give away all your squirrel skins, but at least in my case I can think of it as a "good trade" as in someone giving me something I like and me being very pleased with what I get. A good trade, right? Now for the "what do I have to do/give blah" part, this trade with arch has really set me on a mood for trying to give something back, and I know I'm not the only one (just read the unofficial/quasimodofficial/almost_un_but_still_official thank you threads).
So far the trade in my part has been a heck of a learning experience without loosing any money (except maybe this laptop I just bought second handed..), but hasn't someone once said "time is money", so I can also honestly say, it hasn't all been free. It has been said somewhere in the almost official descriptions, if I'm not mistaking, that arch is for tinkerers.. in my case meaning "try everything and then decide what you may like or not, but we give you the opportunity to try. And if it doesn't work, you're not forbidden to ask for help..) So, if one considers this mark of the trade not compatible with the concept of "free as in freedom", that really makes me want to talk about it.. but maybe in private ![]()
