it is semi-decent, someone said the svn/git version is about 95% as usable as the kde3.
but for me kdemod4 works just fine, although there are still some minor bugs and beauty problems.

Edit just found a brand new kde4 article:

Seems that atleast kdemod4.03 should be pretty safe bet to switch to kde4, if only amarok2 would be usable already ^^
