My clock didn't update either, after checking the BIOS clock (GMT) and my rc.conf I looked around in the /usr/share/zone directory I found a Pacific-New entry under US and tried it figuring it was for the "new and improved" daylight savings plan, and it seemed to do the trick.

My clock still has not changed. It is set to localtime and US/Eastern. What has worked for you guys?

I am in the UK, and my clock didn't change. I installed openntpd and that seemed to fix it, but after a reboot it is back to what it was - an hour too fast. Help?
rc.conf set to localtime, timezone to London

How do I set bios? Should I use UTC or localtime, bearing in mind that I boot vista occasionally.

I had to update the time in my Vista partition for my Arch partition to change.

Ha! I replied to this last year with the smug "works for me" and this year it didn't.
I had to use ntpdate to update on all my arch computers.

It didn't update for me this year either. I ended up just installing openntpd. Works great, and I may just use it only once in a while to keep my date & time in sync.
