This is the start of a little project to automate the process of editing a theme. The script so far can alter the code and images used in a theme to a new colour - the test here was using blue.

here using an in-3's desktop

Finally I'm done with theming my Arch install a bit. It still needs some polishing, but I'm pretty satisfied with how it is now:

Clean:

Dirty:

Conky is, in this order: CPU1, CPU2, CPU3, CPU4, RAM, SWAP, Battery, Used % /, Used % /home, Used % Memory card. Will add other things to it later

sure it is on my deviant page and it another one where I've taken a very nice nale12 theme and just edited a little.

I am using Openbox one month. Before it was Gnome + Compiz, but it's time to move on. And with Gnome 3 it will be must.

Wow Darth GTK and Openbox (a rework of Wow Dark by nale12), Simple conky using the image feature to give a background. Wallpaper by Serial2503, Tint2, simple tinting of the panels.

I've decided to purify my system. No compositing, less backgrounded tasks and cleaner looks.

It operates much faster now and reminds me what I first loved about Openbox.. purity and speed.

Sorry I seem to reuse the same elements so often that I rarely list them.

For example here are almost the same elements with minor mods

Icons are areao43 with other favourites of mine being faenza and anycolouryoulike

Panel is tint2 that most of us seem to use and I just edit the theme a little each time, often by using tintwizard

conky is the same as I have used for a while now and it depends on the relatively new feature in conky that allows for the placing of a background image,

GTK theme in this case is Wow-Darth one I have used for a few weeks, adapted from a theme by nale12 and available from my signature.

Openbox theme is an old one I just recently revived with the name still-darkII

Wallpaper is an old favourite of mine and I have lost the link to it.

By going back in the pages of this thread and the conky thread you'll find some of my configs but as I often say they are of little use without the scripts they refer to.
