Looks like ncmpcpp.

App says newsbeuter, so I'm guessing it's a RSS feed reader.

I suppose you can follow this and just change the settings for terminator instead of urxvt.

...and Carbon Based Lifeforms is awesome. I recommend Solar Fields, too, if you're into that style.

Bit late to the party and most is explained already, but nonetheless:
- music player is ncmpcpp (replaced by moc in the meantime, so I could get rid of mpd)
- mutt and newsbeuter (rss) at the top
- see post #1664 for a quick explanation

Thanks! MPD and NCMPCPP are the best things on my computer, hands down.
Whats better about it? I've used Mocp for about a year now and I have never needed anything else..

It's not the right place to have a discussion about it but indeed, I've used mocp for a while as well and it did (almost) everything MPC/ncmpcpp did. Apart from lyrics (which is just a keystroke away in ncmpcpp) and I never managed to make mocp scrobble. And it didn't play nice with pulse in those days (decided to get rid of pulse later anyway).
It is a very capable audioplayer and I still use it to play ad-hoc sound files, but MPD with all the clients, companions and hacks is better suited to manage and play a music library and playlists I think.

Don't worry about that, you won't be alone! That would be a great opportunity to learn, though.
