Do you mind sharing it?
I wish I made it, but sadly just joined the image to split screen it.- http://wallbase.cc/wallpaper/928021

Well... switched to Openbox this weekend after my HDD crashed. I guess I like minimalism...
Clean:
What you see: Volti, wicd-gtk & thunderbird with FireTray extension on a Tint2 panel
Dirty:
What you see: Same as above + pcmanfm, terminator & geany
Wallpaper: Pure by xhoOp
Openbox-theme: Zukitwo-OB
GTK-theme: Zukitwo
Various configurations: GitHub
If you've any suggestions and/or questions, feel free to throw them at me...

@bdalenoord
Lovely desktop.
You have inspired me for my next Arch install...

@bdalenoord: That's quite nice! Very much my style (clean, simple, etc.). I went to check your ob and gtk themes... and they're what I'm using

Did a fresh install and this is the result!
Openbox, tint2 and conky with lua clock

I really love the wallpaper, and this goes without saying; the clock is awesome. (it's weird how I used "this goes without saying" and then I actually said it)
And btw, someone should make a wallpaper for Arch based on your signature. That the matrix would run on arch - love this <3

Thanks a lot, mate! It's always nice to get good reviews...
BTW, the wallpaper is a standard Mac OSX wallpaper, and the clock was shamelessly ripped from someone's GitHub... (But don't tell anybody... o_O )
Oh, and if you want to make that wallpaper you're talking about, go ahead... I would if I could, but I positively suck at anything remotely connected to graphical editing and thingies...

Thanks for everything!
And maybe I'll do the wallpaper. Haven't done any in a long time.

The wallpaper is a photo of the giger sculpture of the very famous birth machine.
Bottom panel is tint2-svn with launchers. The arch logo is simply a launcher for the keybind cntl-alt-space which I have mapped to the root-menu. So it acts as a kinda start here button if I can't find anywhere to right mouseclick.

Pretty basic, but the quote is spot on.
I really love those colors. Mind share the hexadecimal code for them?

My laptop with openbox:
Openbox, Conky, Stalonetray, Compton, Surreal OB Theme, Cukoo-Spit GTK Theme and a self written mini-bash-script to show relevant Pacman Infos.
Openbox wont hide conky when windows are maximized.
Edit: With a small glitch on the TopMEM2 conky text...it needs more space

i like what i have seen in the last few pages, the simple translucent bar at the bottom and conky on the side, maybe i will eventually be inspired to know what i would like to do with my desktop, which is currently just installed and running gnome 3 at the moment.
i would like something basic and dark for the desktop, but the windows to be polished like gnome 3 with better icons lol
maybe someone can help?
