Re: Arch's official language

This is actually pretty cool...I bet it could do wonders for our search engine rankings on international websites LOL

I can just see it, when three days from now our google.com rankings plummet while the stats for arch on google.de go through the roof.  We should just have an international week every 6 months and rotate through all the major languages =P

PS: As for the 'freak out' posts made by some users, I can't believe you thought it was serious--take a break from your computer, I think you need some fresh air smile

PSS: Now where's that Tool CD?  Maybe now I can finally get help with baking that cake!

Re: Arch's official language

of course! it's the arch way:

arch tries to keep it as simple as possible whereas simple does not mean...lazy-ass friendly.

so get that lazy ass together and learn a language much more functional. it is YOUR responsibility to know your system lol!

Re: Arch's official language

Blah, it should have been a more pronounced language - like Suahili or something. Or Esperanto - now that's a lingua franca  big_smile

If everything else fails, read the manual.

I'm cheated!

March 31st here... ?

wink

Please bear with us during this transition - we are working closely with archlinux.de to facilitate the switch, at which point we plan to merge the websites. Knowing the great community behind Arch, we are sure a community project will arise quickly to fill the small void left when we completely discontinue the English site.

So... Who's going to step up to this new task? Any takers thus far?

Re: Arch's official language

Arch changes the official language to German lol I really had a hard time just trying to register.

ROFL

I really love this distro (at least as far as this annoucement disappears tomorrow).

Ask not what your Arch can do for you but what you can do for your Arch. (Learn German!)

Re: Arch's official language

Allen noch sehr viel Spaß heute && Have fun today
