Re: April 2008 Screenshots

Would you mind sharing your WM theme and wallpaper? They're "gentle" to my eyes, color-wise, so it's really great!

Re: April 2008 Screenshots

Quite new to ARCH, so be gentle.

My first ARCH screenshot post.

Messy:

Tidy:

t_ftidym4ea59m_0374bd9.jpg

Any suggestions are welcome particularly aesthetics wise. Also how do you output that ARCH logo and theme information in the terminal?

=============================================================================================================

One problem I am having with my current theme; Elegant Mine, is that everything Is grey now even the text fields. I like the theme, the blue scroll bars are great, but the grey text fields and menus are annoying especially in evolution as I cant even see text written in black. Any tips?

Here is a pic of the problem:

Thanks in advance

That would be in this topic here: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=24208&p=1

More updated versions are in the latter pages of that topic, including the updated logo.

I dont understand how to get those to work. I copied code into gedit and saved as a .pl file, then I chmod +X the .pl file to make it executable, then I do ./info.pl but it gives out tons of errors.

Anyway fixed my problem with the theme mentioned earlier, just using a new theme; Elegant Brit.

Here is the new setup, wallpaper possibly NSFW.

KDEmod is considered unofficial.

Thanks! Works! I've obviously missed it before. And autostart is quite new tab in systemsettings for running scripts and those programs that kde wont automagically start, try it if all else fails. (I'm using it to run feh script to set background for conky to display transparency properly)
