After some months I decided to change my desktop
Clean version:
Dirty version:
Just the usual openbox, urxvt, thunar, conky, visibility-python and gmusicbrowser in the dirty screen
Gtk: ElegantBrit
Openbox: ElegantBrit
Icons: ALLBLACK
To get something done, a committee should consist of no more than three persons, two of them absent.

No cause is lost if there is but one fool left to fight for it.

http://dotfiles.org/~krib/tintrc
I'm using some really old version of tint, so it might behave differently with newer versions.. atleast on my laptop it doesHow do you mean Tint hasn't been updated for ages.
Well I am aware of that.. What i mean is, tint that is installed on my desk machine is reeeeeeaaaaally old, some of the first releases, whereas on my laptop i have the latest available build, which i know is old too, I have same tintrc on both machines. And i think i can see some difference in this pic

Ok . Any reason why you don't upgrade?

Just laziness and i think the older one works just fine
:edit: annoying thing is that i cant seem to find version info anywhere, pacman -Q or tint --version etc. won't show anything useful

How did you get your clock to behave like that? That is, clock on top, date below. Here time and date are next to each other.

My Desktop
I started from the Nova-Arch theme but I wanted something green to fit with the background.
Icons are : ALLBLACK, but they're not really readable...

Many thanks Yes it's KDEmod. Everything is pretty much standard (polyester style + plastik decorations), I just changed the KDE default color scheme to make the windows and some other stuff darker. You can change it in color schemes, and then clicking on the preview, on the color you'd like to change.
Also, not using Compiz at all, and feeling good about it
PS: I'm also using the Oxygen icon theme, found on KDE-look

Nothing fancy, only posted to show dwm 4.9 in bottom stack mode:
http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/3192 … ab5.th.jpgBest regards, Sigi
hi, I've just moved from openbox to dwm and I love it. I'm still playing with some configuration, but for now the bottom stack functionality is the last thing I need to be satisfied. But, I'm unable to apply bstack patch (4.7) from suckless.org to the latest version of dwm (4.9). So, mind if I ask you to post me your config.h and other files I might need? Or give me some advice? :-)

I've never used Awesome, but that looks interesting! What font is used in the upper right? The status bar thing?
On another note, the Pastebin pages those links direct to use the Monaco font that I have in OS X, does anyone know where I can get it for my Archlinux PC? I'm a bit clueless when it comes to fonts.

And i am interested in your .fvwm/config

Hmm, I'm pretty sure that's just how it was. Maybe it's something unique to kdemod?
