Hey Iphitus, what GTK theme is that? I've been looking for a good white Industrial theme forever!

It's a modification of my Dustry gtk theme.

Its exactly the same as the one you download, except i ran the cool shell script that i included that makes a colour variation.

http://xfce-look.org/content/show.php?content=23694

grab that, install the standard dustry theme, then cd to ~/.themes/Dustry
once there do,

./dustry-new.sh FF8400 orange

where FF8400 is the hex value for the colour you want, with the leading # stripped, and where orange is, is the name for the new theme. So the above example would create an orange variation of dustry at ~/.themes/Dustry-orange.

./dustry-new.sh FFFFFF white

That would give you a pure white Dustry variation at ~/.themes/Dustry-white.

Sleepydog: Yep, im using the scratchpad in the middle of a wfloatfs/pwm desktop.

My obligatory E17 screenshot:

Yeah, yeah, ugly, I know... Well, I'm a rather long way from being done with the configuration.

(For those who want to know: Vandango's Winter theme, Clearlooks-Bright gtk theme, Edge icon theme for Firefox.)

Re: [CLOSED - SEE MONTHLY STICKIES] Arch Desktop Screenshots

can you post the thumbnail (smaller image) and maybe a link to the larger one please?
posting huge images makes the post load slow, and makes everyone using a smaller resolution have to scroll their browser pane.

GNOME, modified to remove the Mac-ish element:

screenshot2dd.th.jpg

Hmmm... Looks rather like XFCE with a very skinny panel, actually. Well, when the Edge icon set gets ported to XFCE, you know what I'll be using.

(Oh yeah... GTK theme is Clearlooks-Edge by bvc, icons are Edge (again by bvc), Metacity theme is Clearbox by marandhu, wallpaper is Reverse Red Octopus by Leslie Laurence.)

that xfce?

Xfce without taskbar (I dislike the concept of horizontal panels on low res like 1024x768)  and desktop which is rox.
The xfce4-panel has many lightweight applets but the rox panel has bigger icons at same panel size and better dnd support (wait for good rox applets though).
So i run xfce4-panel on top of rox panel.
Themes are Aqua Steeled for xfwm4, g5-ish for gtk2 and aXMMS for xmms. Wallpaper from google image search for shark.
