It's "archlinux", so.. Btw I named my FreeBSD box "archdemon".. I think TWIN is still maintained, although the progress is dead slow, according to sourceforge the latest version is 0.6 released Dec '07.

Not much has changed...too busy with other stuff.

Openbox (1977 GTK and Obtheme)
Wallpaper: modified version of "diagonal" (Does anyone know the original author?)
pypanel, conky, etc.

Best Openbox desktop I've seen yet. Could I get your pypanel config? Also, what are the fonts used here? Thanks!

Yeah, Zenburn is great, settings are available for a bunch of applications by now http://slinky.imukuppi.org/zenburnpage/

Btw since that screenshot I've been patching cplay a lot, among other things I added colors to it, so if anyone is interested, solely the color patch:

You need to install an RTFM interface.

1. just google "snooze by rndl"

2. thanks, I'm still working on it. it is indeed very light, ~690 MB of RAM that conky shows is caused by ~100 tabs in Opera smile

Re: June 2008 Screenshots

I got nostalgic of my beginner Linux days and tried to do something that'd actually look like a desktop again...

200806211126331024x768tw3.th.png200806211126301024x7682iy0.th.png200806211126581024x768gn8.th.png

The giant pager is surprisingly useful.

WM: Openbox, custom theme
GTK: Murrine, custom theme
lxpanel
conky
netwmpager
starring Arch-tan ^_^

Thanks. Those buttons are just icons/launchers. I use them to control mpd through mpc. You can add them in .pypanelrc:

...

LAUNCH_LIST     = [
                   ("mpc prev &>/dev/null", "/home/istvan/.icons/custom/mpd_prev.png"),
                   ("mpc stop &>/dev/null", "/home/istvan/.icons/custom/mpd_stop.png"),
                   ("mpc toggle &>/dev/null", "/home/istvan/.icons/custom/mpd_play_pause.png"),
                   ("mpc next &>/dev/null", "/home/istvan/.icons/custom/mpd_next.png"),
                   ("", "/home/istvan/.icons/custom/separator.png"),
                   ("pcmanfm", "/usr/share/pixmaps/pcmanfm.png"),
                   ("firefox3", "/usr/share/pixmaps/firefox.png")
                  ]
...

LAUNCHER        = 2             # Application launcher section, not 0
...
