Such a comfortable window manager! I didn't "place" anything for this screenshot; the only "window management" I did myself was to press Mod4+l to create the second column you see on the right. Things are just where they should be autonatically.

The wallpaper is "Underwater 3" from http://vladstudio.com

really nice font, name please !?;

Mind sharing your .Xdefaults or something? Your colors are awesome. And what vim's colorscheme is that?

Yeah! wmii is my favourite tiling WM. It's just too bad that the apps I use don't work well with it sad

Re: June 2008 Screenshots

The font is "Terminus" (pacman -S terminus-font)

Vim's colorscheme is the default one.

I think I copied phrakture's X colours around a year ago. I'm not in love with them, but they are good enough that I've never bothered to change them. Here are my ~/.Xdefaults:

URxvt*font: xft:Terminus:pixelsize=12
URxvt*transparent: true
URxvt*shading: 20
URxvt*fading: 20
URxvt*scrollBar: false
URxvt*saveLines: 500
URxvt*pointerBlank: true

URxvt*foreground: #bbbbbb
URxvt*background: #000000

! Black + DarkGrey
*color0: #000000
*color8: #222222
!! DarkRed + Red
*color1: #803232
*color9: #bb4b4b
!! DarkGreen + Green
*color2: #5b762f
*color10: #89b83f
!! DarkYellow + Yellow
*color3: #aa9943
*color11: #efef60
!! DarkBlue + Blue
*color4: #324c80
*color12: #2b4f98
!! DarkMangenta + Mangenta
*color5: #706c9a
*color13: #826ab1
!!DarkCyan + Cyan
*color6: #92b19e
*color14: #a1cdef
!! LightGrey + White
*color7: #ffffff

Re: June 2008 Screenshots

Hers mine, used to be cooler but when I got dual monitors Xinerama broke compiz and my theme didnt fit so I just reverted to clearlooks.

http://www.dximages.uni.cc/files/1/scre … _clean.png
http://www.dximages.uni.cc/files/1/scre … _dirty.png

Should've scaled them a bit smaller but oh well, those are the thumbnails. The background is from the archlinux-artwork (i think its called) package, using clearlooks, and had custom icons dont know what happened to them. Using pidgin banshee status plugin found here.

[Edit]
Took out thumbs, probably way too big for smaller resolutions.

wmiirc is too complicated for me to understand; I only made two changes:

~ $ diff /etc/wmii-3.5/wmiirc /home/peets/.wmii-3.5/wmiirc
5c5
< MODKEY=Mod1
---
> MODKEY=Mod4
21c21
< WMII_TERM="xterm"
---
> WMII_TERM="urxvt"

Re: June 2008 Screenshots

Just starting to setup everything. Need to edit my bashrc so it looks more interesting. Anyway, this is what I have so far using xmonad (no customizations yet)

Maybe not, but she has random physics equations behind her, thus amplifying her beauty.
