yes , well it was a perfectly working system..:D but the initial question remains, why is there no way to revert back to original. I know you have explained a bit earlier and i have seen other threads, but can you explain with an example as to why a package simply doesn't take out the files it installed, if not by default why is there not even an option.

If you find a package that leaves files behind after removal please report. If I can I will try to find an explanation.
