Re: Arch Case Badges

Please post photos as soon as you get them! I'm very excited about this. As soon as I see a good sample I'll probably order 5-10.

Re: Arch Case Badges

The job of making pre-loaded USB sticks would be made much easier with one of those 8-way usb writers. These things are quite expensive. I'd say just stick to blanks, if you were to decide to ship Arch usb sticks. Put me down for one of those.

Re: Arch Case Badges

I received the badges today. They look decent. I'm going to beat the shit out of one to see how durable they are wink

Re: Arch Case Badges

I will try very hard to get the order form up today. I can't promise though, because I already promised I'd have the newsletter proofread for Eduardo by yesterday and I didn't, so I simply MUST do that first today!

I've got them in my inbox. I'll put them on a site I'm creating for this stuff later today. If Simo gets bored he'll probably post them here sooner.

Re: Arch Case Badges

In those pictures they look about 8 feet square. I'm pretty sure they aren't made for 1970s mainframes though...

Feel free to start ordering, my friends:
http://schwag.neotuli.net/

Suggestions welcome. I'm using google docs for the form for now because I'm too short on time to set up a django instance on Simo's server. Clunky but it works.

Sorry to those that don't like paypal, its the only way right now, but if you can figure out other ways to get money to me (money order, certified cheque, e-mail money transfer, whatever), and I can figure out how to receive it without too much work, I'm open to other suggestions.

If those of you in Europe want to get together and order in bulk that's fine by me, but I don't have time to organize it.

Yeah they're actually 1" x 1" (2.54cm x 2.54cm)

Wow, that looks really good! I think I'll get me a paypal-account (is useful for ebay, too...) and order some. Awesome!

Re: Arch Case Badges

I already placed an order, but nothing arrived at my e-mail yet. I guess it's normal... I read that you are planning on selling notepads too. I'm really interested in seeing how they would look like... Can you show us?

Sorry, I have to send each request manually (for now), and didn't get to it until this morning. You should have it now! :-)

I haven't really looked into other products yet, but we'd probably use something like this:
http://www.vistaprint.ca/sticky-notes.a … ng=1061560
or
http://www.vistaprint.ca/note-pads.aspx … ng=1061560

let me know if you have any ideas. :-)

Re: Arch Case Badges

I was thinking on something between A7 and A6, maybe A6, not adhesive, with metal circles instead, with the arch watermark... something like that... was that what you were thinking? If so, I prefer to wait before confirming the other order...

Re: Arch Case Badges

They'll definitely be a long time in the future... we need to make enough money off the case badges and other zazzle schwag to reinvest in new stuff. The nice thing about zazzle is you don't have any inventory on hand, but with these items we have to order in bulk and then ship.
