I love the artwiz fonts and use them on my laptop, but on my desktop, with a larger resolution they are just too small.. is there any thing i can to to be able to read them.. or is there any good substitute?

bitstream/deja vu sans and mono. I can't read the artwiz's on my desktop lcd, either, or I'd probably use those a lot more.

I like Myriad Pro, regular face for applications, and semibold for menus. But Myriad is copyrighted, so as a second opinion I would recommend both Liberation Sans and Liberation Mono which are very readable.

Lucida Sans 9 everywhere (identical to Lucida Grande, comes with Sun's java package). DejaVu Sans Mono in the terminal. Droid sans 9 and DejaVu Sans condensed 9 are also good choices.

That's what I use on my Aspire One (without looking, I think it might be 9pt rather than 8), but it doesn't look as good here on my main desktop, for some reason. Same patches. Must be down to the monitor, I suppose.
