Cheers

Thanks. It's called conkyForecast, you can get it on the Ubuntuforums, here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=869328. Contains everything you need.

Thanks. Seems you need to register though... Thanks for the link nonetheless smile.

Yes it's dzen2.  A progress bar is made with two rectangles with different colors.

There is a program called gdbar that can generate the code to make one.

ok, a little off topic here. My kids were wanting to know if there was some kind of animation software out there. I had heard about blender and installed it for them. This was about two months ago, they are making cartoon characters, space ships, all kinds of stuff. They are 12 and 13 years old.  Must really be a cool tool.

sorry for the hijack, next post will be with a screeny

Fluxbox, Conky, XFCE-Terminal. GTK Theme is xfce-dusk. GTK font is 'cure', Conky font is "UF Silkscreen".

There was at one point, when I was using gnome - I wanted the scroll wheel to switch workspaces in either corner. When I switched to XFCE, I ended up keeping it because I liked the symmetry.

Re: September 2008 Screenshots

That's gnome's (or metacity's) biggest con. It still can't switch workspaces with the scroll of the mouse on the root window. What is up with that ? Almost every other window manager in existence can do that...

Looking at that made me feel a bit sick,  but I guess you do what you've got to do to use Linux and earn a dollar at the same time. Or a krona I guess I should say.
