Yep... you are right, I live in almagro, not so far away from caballito. You can get my msn from my profile,you can also see where I live with Google Earth.
I started using Arch this year and I am trying to convince people to star using it!

Sorry for the obvious question, but whats the program right above the panel in bl1nk's screenshot? I've seen it hundreds of times and have no idea what it is.

It's conky, a very nice system monitor

I just wish I could get rid of the border that stalonetray/openbox insists it MUST have

That's a whole lot. And a lot more than I actually use, or intend to use. Still, nice desktop smile

Re: September 2008 Screenshots

Woohoo! 300th post! big_smile

And what better way to celebrate than finally posting my current desktop to this thread? Yeah, I can think of plenty too, but I'm going to do it anyway...

Clean:
sept08cleanbe3.th.jpg

Unclean:
sept08busyhm9.th.jpg

Openbox (own theme, loosely based on one of Thayer's, I think; colours inspired by Gilouche and the Arch website);
QtCurve (coloured ditto);
ROX-Filer;
Desktop icons from God knows where, otherwise NuoveXT;
Fonts: Aurulent Sans, Deja Vu Sans Mono;
Conky, Stalonetray, and NetWMPager along the top;
XCompmgr.

The wallpaper's from www.ewallpapers.eu but I can't find it again. Their search facility is brilliant: I typed in "building" (part of the filename), and instantly got a mushroom, a Mitsubishi Evo X, a pair of puppies, a teddy bear, some trees, and a selection of young ladies in various states of undress. Not that I'm complaining about the last, but it's not exactly what I asked for, is it?

Anyway, I think that's all. smile
