Whats the point of having the stuff like --enable-ogg and --enable-alsa (there may be more, im just too lazy to look at them all) when building? Those 2 are enabled by default.

Also that fails to build.

As noted elsewhere, it's in extra now (03oct08) and installs just fine.

Those who installed vlc-branch will need to uninstall first.

a question: why vlc dont support rmvb? it's said vlc 0.9 will support it

rmvb is not in the repo. It has license restriction.
