Well, now that xcompmgr v1.4.4 has been released in extra, this package is now useless. I keep tracking the git repository at x.org and I'll post a message here as soon as a significant update occurs.

I gave it a try now. The build went flawlessly, yet there are no visible improvements as yet (at least in its IceWM behaviour).

I gave it a try now. The build went flawlessly, yet there are no visible improvements as yet (at least in its IceWM behaviour).

i try xcompmgr every 3-4 months and everytime i had some issues. now it works flawlessly.
the git version has some chnages dated on the 19.04. i guess that's why it was flagged ood.

Well, i`ve too installed xcompmgr-git from Aur, and it didn`t fix k3b bug i`ve mentioned earlier, although it made it a bit less annoying.

Hm... the last Arch update actually fixed the k3b glitch...
