Yes. Somewhere where it has more visibility. The TOC maybe?

I put it on the main page, under 'Using the System', a new heading. I also added it to the Software category, so it shows up automatically under Software, when searching through the TOC.
Thoughts?

I was searching the forums in an attempt to find a list of different terminals to try out and I ended up finding this.

Very cool idea, and it looks like it's actually going to end up being very useful.

I made some contribution to the Common Apps page. But I did not know that a similar page existed http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Lig … t_Software as pointed out by someone. Some consolidation will be required.

As I said on the Wiki discussion page, I believe we should simply make a Common Apps category, not a page. In this category there should be several pages: GNOME-oriented, KDE-oriented, lightweight graphical, lightweight CLI.

The point is that there is duplication. In essence, it is not necessarily wrong, as long as it doe not generate conflicting information. A common application is not necessarily lightweight of course. But most, if not all lightweight software is a common apps.
