Just a proof of concept how different kde can look and that amarok can behave like 1.4 if one wants it to.

Hmmm, I'm not really sure which one you mean, so I'll just give you both:

Openbox

  <font place="ActiveWindow">
    <name>dejavu sans</name>
    <size>8</size>
    <!-- font size in points -->
    <weight>bold</weight>
    <!-- 'bold' or 'normal' -->
    <slant>normal</slant>
    <!-- 'italic' or 'normal' -->
  </font>

Xdefaults

urxvt*font:                    -*-terminus-medium-*-*-*-12-*-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1
urxvt*boldFont:                -*-terminus-medium-*-*-*-12-*-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1

Can you post your PS1 please?  Is Zsh needed to get that portion of the prompt on the right or can it be done with bash?

Honestly, I've never configured Bash, so I'm not aware of its limitations. But here's my relevant .zshrc section:

if [ `id -u` -eq 0 ]; then
    PROMPT=$'[%{\e[1;31m%}%n%{\e[0m%}]%# '
    RPROMPT=$'[%m: %~]'
else
    PROMPT=$'[%{\e[1;37m%}%n%{\e[0m%}]%# '
    RPROMPT=$'[%m: %~]'

Re: February 2009 Screenshots

thumb-clean.png
clean

thumb-dirty.png
cluttered

Info:
OS: ArchLinux (Core Dump)
Kernel: 2.6.28-ARCH
WM: Openbox
WM Theme: royalty
Icons: Elementary_Ubuntu
Gtk:New Wave
Font (decorations): DejaVu Serif Semi-Condensed 9
Font: DejaVu Serif 9
Background: Electric (custom wallpaper, not released)
Terminal: Urxvt
Other applications: Cairo-dock, trayer, dzen-bat script, tint2, conky, ClockRing screenlet, Gnome-Do and xcompmgr (for transparency)

I also have a question for haxit or anyone else who might know.  The screenlet I'm using (ClockRing which was mentioned earlier on and is actually what drew my eye to it) minimizes when I hit "show desktop" and I was wondering if there was any way to stop this behaviour in openbox (in compiz I could set it to a window rule and non-minimizable, or tell it to not hide things that skipped the taskbar).  Any ideas would be nice.

Thanks in advance if anyone can tell me how to fix this slightly annoying behaviour,
Lswest

Re: February 2009 Screenshots

My Xfce4/fbpanel hybrid. I like everything about Xfce except the rectangular panel with lack of useful transparency, so I made something more to my taste.

xfwm theme: b_and_w
Icon theme: ALLBLACK (customised)
GTK theme:  TechniX (slightly modified)
Wallpaper:  background from Darch Slim/GDM theme
Panel icons: mainly Oxygen-Refit 2 - Black Version and black-white 2 Gloss

Bottom right is a combination of fbpanel and conky - took a bit of lining up...
