Is that a BMpanel? I tried to use that theme but it wouldnt let me use the icon tray. Could you tell me how you set that up? Thanks!

You can only use the tray if you turn off compositing in the theme config file in

 /usr/share/bmpanel/themes/arch/theme

by changing this line

use_composite 0

hope that helps. This is true for any bmpanel theme, if you have on compositing the tray will not work.

Thanks, ill give it a shot smile

yea, it's gnome-main-menu! you can choose it at the panel-configuration! the menu-entrys in the panel are provided by gnome2-globalmenu from AUR! smile

Hey msart2k, lovely shot! In case I get an external monitor with a higher resolution than XGA I might just try exactly your config.

About globalmenu: Did they manage to get firefox running like that? I know that some time ago globalmenu was working only with GTK apps, which is somewhat annoying not to have a coherent solution for all applications - and Firefox' menu just wouldn't show up there.

Funny that Mozilla manages to provide an integration with MacOSX' global menu, but not to give, say, an interface for Linux. hmm

mmm... I think you didn't understand me... I meant that my gnome-main-menu has a little white triangle that looks very ugly and yours not... Like in this screenshot:

I'm sorry that the image is hosted at imageshack, but it's not mine, I just found it on google...

I noticed the font of "1:main" has a shadow. That looks very nice. How did you do that?
