Hi denniscollective,
My PKGBUILD only varies from the stock one (the one in AUR) in the lines I've indicated by indentation. May I please suggest that you use the AUR one first (you can just copy paste it in your source directory, so you don't have to re-download everything), and make sure that's working. The errors I see don't seem to be linked to the changes I've made, but I can't be sure about that.
It seems you have permission errors, are you running as root or as a user with sudo permissions? I've never run as root for makepkg before, so am not sure if it would mess things up or solve problems.
Feel free to ask more. I'm currently running this kernel full-time.

Latest RT is out, but seems like digitalcrypto is busy with real-life. Anyone who's got a working PKGBUILD, it would be well-appreciated. I'm currently cutting my config down to size on this kernel, if it works I'll consider updating the PKGBUILD myself.

Thank you, I'll certainly check that out. Unfortunately as of now it is also out-of-date by one rt.

Wow. Thanks for the information ugkbunb. Will be installing that kernel when I get the CPU time to spare for compilation. Unfortunately it seems to be an either/or between the RT patches and the gentoo+ice patches.
