1280x1024 PNGI know that this screenshot is not particularly pretty, but I just finished an install of Archlinux x64 on my desktop computer, and I felt the need to post something. Shown above are Evilwm, Xcompmgr, Rxvt-Unicode, and Bash. The wallpaper is Traffic/R by Mandolux. The font used in Rxvt-Unicode is Envy Code R.
One thing I did do was custom compile Evilwm myself, during which I disabled virtual desktops, solid draging, edge snapping, and mouse support. I love Evilwm this way and if I need to move/resize a window, I can still do so via Evilwm's excellent keyboard support. I think I've fallen in love with Evilwm all over again!
I think when I get home this afternoon, I will get Conky installed and set up. When I was using OpenBSD, Conky and Xcompmgr would conflict with one another when running at the same time, and I am curious to see if that hold true when running on Linux.
kickass as usual! by the way huge collection of comic books you got mate!

That has to be Fvwm...last I knew, it was the only window manager capable of making such thumbnails...

Very nice. I generally don't care for GUI file managers, but you really did a nice job on your's.

It's Rox with Sunfesta icons.
I don't use the GUI manager much though. But it's useful when the miss wants to start another episode of some series and explaining the terminal to her is a pain (on my side )
GTK is Elegant Dark-Flat Grey (not sure where I got it from it's been sitting around my ~/.themes for some time)

Where did you find that E16 theme, or did you make it yourself?
Nice desktop, I thought it was Fvwm.

Added cpufreq/governor and volume widgets.
Hmm, the widgets don't seem to work for me. As far as I can tell, I've set up everything right because awesome doesn't complain, just nothing shows up.

It's not so simple to find E16 themes, uh?
Look here, there's more than 200 themes.

i think this should do it!
urxvt.inheritPixmap: true
urxvt.shading: 75
urxvt.tintColor: white
you can render it transparent by using the inheritPixmap, shading parameter, and tintColor. most important are the pixmap option being true and shading being set. 100% shading is 100% transparent
hope that helps!
