Not possible at the moment, fglrx is the only driver with 3D for the HD3200 at the moment

A number of people have successfully run KWin using XRender compositing on 6xx/7xx with the open drivers.

I'm not sure how much of the Desktop Effects that allows but IIRC it's worth trying.

I just found a terrible fact that the catalyst driver replaces the file:

/usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libdri.so

and doesn't recover it after catalyst is removed.
so anyone who have installed catalyst better try reinstalling xorg-server as well.

is this the reason why I had to reinstall catalyst / catalyst-utils after updating xorg-server? Took me a few hours and many hard resets to get my System up and running again...
