I'm using Musca!
and with my destop
http://omploader.org/vMW4xMg
I really come to like the "group" way to manage windows, with the highly customizable keybindings, settings are real simple and direct!
you'll love it, absolutely!
in my .musca_start file i set
bind on Mod4+d use 0
bind on Mod4+1 use 1
bind on Mod4+2 use 2
etc...works nicely for switching groups, especially Mod4+d shows desktop, just like what i set in every desktop environment i've used.
Just one problem:
I can't get urxvt in true transparency in musca. worked well in openbox. just the same setting in .Xdefaults : URxvt.background: rgba:0000/0000/0000/dddd
and question 2:
how do i start urxvt with screen ? "urxvt -e screen" just give a flash and terminates.

its weechat with buffers.pl
By the way: weechat has a wonderful plugin called weeget, which acts like a package manager for weechat plugins
Just make sure to get weechat-dev from aur.

That microchip-menu is a really nice addition to the desktop.
edit: How do other gtk apps look? I'll be interested in that gtk theme if the other elements are similar.
Here is a screenie of Gtk-chtheme and Firefox.

It's so colorful! Can I have your Xdefaults and ncmpcpp configs, etc? And what term is that?
Xdefaults - above
Ncmpcpp - Default config
Term - urxvt (pacman -S rxvt-unicode)

why not throw in the background image too.. thansk
Found the background on Google Images a few days ago.
The only thing really out of place on that desktop is the urxvt icon.. otherwise it's very lubly.
Thanks! I'm currently working on looking for a font that I can use in the terminal and on Gtk apps. Again from the artwiz package of course...
Edit: I've decided to use cure. It works.

Mind sharing your shell (zsh or bash?) prompt, please? ... As if you didn't have enough requests.

No problem! I'm flattered!
I've been using it for a while, but there are some funky things that happen with the odd tab completion or backspace going past the terminal length limit (probably due to the multiline nature of the input). I'll have to grok out Phil's zsh prompt, and try to rebase mine off his. His multiline prompt seems to work very well.
