Hi there folks,
Since I am right now searching ( this involves real searching for configurations on the internet and configuring by myself ) for the right configuration of FVWM, I also came across this project (ArchWD).
Is it still alive? Because it looks like abandoned... the packages in AUR the last time I tried to install produced some errors which I think was due to the usage of outdated version of pactk.
Well it would be really nice to have something really coming along with KISS principle. It would also be not the only Archlinux based project (Since the Chakra project is also very nice thing).
So basically my question is whether it is alive and if not, why it was abandoned?
ArchWD-FVWM is a window developer to build and share FVWM configs by using an Arch Linux style of runcom and package management system. Configs (tasks and features) are developed by the user him/herself or downloaded from a repo storing packages (configs) made by other users. The configs are run through a runcom either as daemons (background config) or modules (frontend config), at startup.
It is what you make it. Setup and manage as per your choice.

Last change to the site was in 2006...
I think that is a no.

Well... too bad, because IMHO it was a really good project....

It died because as I pointed out to Raast at the time, he was wasting his time due to the existance of fvwm-themes.
I am surprised your search for FVWM-related things hasn't taken you here:
That's where you want to be.
