cdemu stopped working

This is what I get in /var/log/daemon.log after the last cdemu-daemon upgrade:

Jun 20 07:41:37 core2lin cdemud[7163]: open(/usr/var/run/cdemud.pid): No such file or directory
Jun 20 07:41:37 core2lin cdemud[7163]: Could not create PID file: No such file or directory.

But definitely, there shouldn't be any pid file in there!
Rebuilding cdemu-daemon didn't help.
The only way to make it work is very ugly:
sudo mkdir /usr/var/run && sudo /etc/rc.d/cdemud start

There SURELY has to be a better way to fix this, though.

Re: cdemu stopped working

we are two on the same train man.

I got the same issue.

They say that if you play a Win cd backward you hear satanic messages. That's nothing! 'cause if you play it forwards, it installs windows.
