I do hate for my first post on the forums to be a request, but I had to create an account just to request one of these while it lasted. So far your designs are amazing.

If you have the time, I'd like something very minimalistic. No wallpaper in particular, nor do I even need one if you see fit. If you do use a wallpaper, something that isn't too busy and has a natural feel to it is ideal. I love the look of Elemental, and I like certain elements of nice and clean.

As far as conky goes, I really don't need many system stats at all, maybe just RAM usage and maybe processor usage. Otherwise, a clock and calander are the two main things I need. If conky can integrate with my google calander I'd be very happy. I do like the idea of a todo list as well.

Hmmm... Just how simple do you want? I mean, do you even want a taskbar or would you rather that be integrated into a pipemenu or something?

Honestly, whichever looks best to you. You seem to have a pretty good eye for these things.

I'm more concerned about functionality than just looks, but I generally use tilda or hotkeys for all my app launching, so a taskbar isn't required, so long as I still have my clock.

Well... the request was for as simple as possible (no taskbar or anything) so that's what I made. Might have to do some more work on it though, this one may actually be too simple!

I've got an idea, but this one, if done, will be epic.

How about a theme that includes a script to change the look based on the weather?
What's changed could just be the wallpaper, or better yet the wallpaper and conky, or better still everything.

Daunting task, I realize, but I figured I might as well throw it out there

(Note: I won't be using this, as it's just an idea to keep Ghost busy.)

It would still be neat to expand the idea and have more themes change based on the weather rather than just the wallpaper.

Love your thread. Really nice conkys & designs. I already used some ideas for my desktop...

I'm thinking about this as my new wallpaper. Had used it before, with a pretty standard conky. Unfortunately, most configs don't look good due to the perspective & movement of the image. I'll hack something together myself, but if you got the time to have a look at it, I'd really appreciate that... nothing special, mainly Date & Time, mpd infos and perhaps upload/download speed & traffic.
