The game is starting for you guys?

I am getting the following error:

$ ./hon.sh

the game itself starts fine after each update. does hon.sh installs the game or did you try to run in from the HoN folder!?

That's just what I did... I cd into HoN/ and run ./hon.sh.

EDIT: Well, and then get that error.

I've recently stumbled upon this game and as a huge dota fan i would loveeee a cd key and if anyone happens to have an extra key pls throw it to me and if quite possible a 2nd for my bud but if u can only send 1 i will be more then gracious...E-Mail: ursastupid@yahoo.com- i would really love any help on this matter i can get thank you..

If you have a Facebook account, become a fan of the HoN group. Then, there are instructions on how you can obtain a beta key. It's really quite easy.

Hello . I had to install on Windows as it seems there is no support for ATI open source drivers . Still, a couple of people added me from here and they seem pretty nice. Hello to them.

Wow! I cannot believe I had not noticed this sooner. I enjoy Dota, but have been looking for something fresh.

As far as the beta is concerned, what if one does not use Facebook? How to try this out then?

This sounds like a nice game , how popular is it actaully ? I might want to package it for the archlinux-gaming repo but i dont know if the license permits it. I saw savage on AUR btw

This game is a whole lot of fun. The Linux client is really good as well.

the game is wery popular ! there is 7000+ players online almost all the time, i think you it would be nice an arch pkg

Doesn't it start for you or what? Because, with the latest Intel drivers and your graphics card it should run. For me it doesn't, because mt Intel 945gm does not support OpenGL 2.0 (yours should).

nice, checkerboards on intel graphics card is fixed now. Was to lazy to boot into windows so now I can finaly play some more.

Seems I'm still having problem loading texture. I'm with X4500MHD and latest stable intel driver and mesa here. It supports OpenGL 2.0

not very good at hardware, but the specs say Intel Mobile GL40 Express and Intel GMA 4500M.

Though now the game gets an error when a map finishes loading.
