How do you display the album art on your desktop? Dzen?
Conky can display images too .
Oh nice. Didn't know that. Must be quite a new feature? Thanks .

Nothing fancy this month, just a pretty vanilla Gnome with conky and wbar.

http://img195.imageshack.us/img195/6079/0608092.th.pngToday I tried PekWM and it's cool - easy, self-explaining configs, great theming possibilities and, I can't belive, it seems quicker than Openbox (placebo ?)!
Conky, xfce4-panel, thunar, urxvt, gpicview and pidgin in tray.
PekWM enthusiast here too
wallpaper please? thanx

How are you displaying the calendar on your desktop?

You can add something like this to conky:
{execi 1000 cal}

This screenshot is from a new Arch x86 installation. Evilwm is managing windows, Xclock is displaying the time, Xcompmgr is creating shadows, and Xterm is emulating a terminal. Both Xterm and Xclock are using Bitstream Vera Sans Mono. And you can't see it, but Moc is running in the background.

I use two .conkyrc's, both run by a script calling them. This is the conky-cal:
TEXT
${alignr}${color3}${pre_exec cal -1 -m}
${alignr}${color3}${pre_exec cal -3 -m| cut -c45-64}

Well I thought about you just calling cal... Just wasn't sure conky would retain the formatting (apparently it does). Thanks!
