they're called nickcolor.pl and nm.pl, can't remember where i got them tho.

http://pbrisbin.com:8080/shared/nickcolor.pl
http://pbrisbin.com:8080/shared/nm.pl

note: i had to skip the recent perl upgrade or they break sad.  haven't looked into a fix yet.

Re: September 2009 Screenshots

nm.pl doesn't only align nicknames but also provides coloring... and version 0.3.8 works with perl in core.

You need to install an RTFM interface.

Here is my new Arch setup. smile
I am new to the Arch scene but having alot of fun. I like very minimal dark setups and favour blues so Arch's colors work for me. ^.^

You might want to take a look at these also, I think they would suit your setup very well!

Re: September 2009 Screenshots

My first custom setup. I have only been running Linux for a few months now and Arch for a couple of weeks and I love it. big_smile

OpenBox with Ghost1227's theme Station23 as base. rxvt-unicode with zsh and a first attempt with conky.

Re: September 2009 Screenshots

Hey y'all!

I got bored a little in advance of next month's screenshot thread, and decided to share early. I'll repost this when the new thread rolls out. It's a pretty major departure design-wise from my last desktops.

Clean:

th_screenshot-2009-09-30-1133.jpg

Dirty:

th_screenshot-2009-09-30-1139.jpg

The background image was snagged off of a forum. When I went back to check the download location, the post was edited to point to a different picture. So sorry, I have no idea where to get it, or who it is.

Only other thing not in the info screen is the Xcursor. I'm using ClromeGlass from gnome-look.org. I finally got around to changing it from the default...  I really like it! http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/ … tent=88321

Did you guys know that the transparency for the cursor is not dependent on any form of compositing? I discovered it by accident when I killed xcompmgr to change it's menu transparency level. The mouse stayed transparent! Surprised the hell out of me, as I was hoping that I did not have trouble with the mouse vanishing because of the sudden lack of compositing like I have with urxvt when compositing dies.

I keep getting distracted from my webserver project...

huh? oooh...  shiny!

konsole with Qt4 Oxygen theme. Firefox with the heaven.cube theme. Openbox theme is HappyHalloweenII by Ghost1227 (openbox w/ tint2 panel at top) with a different background (see next ss) and window border (Murre_v2_grey).
