I updated my second monitor/system monitor a bit. More minimal mpd client, a new bash sysmon, and instead of a wallpaper+transparency, a picture on the side.

How you change color of tbas bar in urxvt?
What option you use?

First you have to make color definitions in Xdefaults like this:

URxvt.color0: #333333
URxvt.color1: #CC0000
URxvt.color2: #F3FF93
URxvt.color3: #C4A000

...etc.

Then write this in Xdefaults:

URxvt.tabbed.tabbar-fg: XY
URxvt.tabbed.tabbar-bg: XY
URxvt.tabbed.tab-fg: XY
URxvt.tabbed.tab-bg: XY

Where XY is number of defined color.

Ok thanks that works.

XMonad, urxvt, irssi, ncmpcpp. I've got firefox, transmission and pidgin running on other desktops, but that's boring.

Re: September 2009 Screenshots

@ rusty, thank you

@ Procyon

I'm trying the method in your blog but it chokes on:

// Rate
first = print_buffer(first, last, " |%4.0f/%-4.0f| ",
(double)d->download()->up_rate()->rate() / (1 <download()->down_rate()->rate() / (1 << 10));

even after i change it to what i think it maybe should've been:

// Rate
first = print_buffer(first, last, " |%4.0f/%-4.0f| ", (double)d->download()->up_rate()->rate() / (1 <download()->down_rate()->rate() / (1 << 10)));

i'm obviously missing something hmm

/edit: nevermind i got it!

first = print_buffer(first, last, " |%4.0f/%-4.0f| ", (double)d->download()->up_rate()->rate() / (1 << d->download()->down_rate()->rate() / (1 << 10)));

Re: September 2009 Screenshots

It should be

   //rate
   first = print_buffer(first, last, " |%4.0f/%-4.0f| ",
                       (double)d->download()->up_rate()->rate() / (1 << 10),
                       (double)d->download()->down_rate()->rate() / (1 << 10));

It seems after I submitted it, it took this to mean a tag:
< 10),
            (double)d->

I will see if there are more like that. [edit: nope, that was the only <...>]
