Hey wait I used to play/host CS1.6 on a lousy 866 PIII and 256MB SD RAM!

^^ that's what I thought. I used to run a dedicated Q3A server on a 600 mhz celeron.

I'll see what happens when I load the dedicated server on my server box. 400 kbyte upload should do it, though I'm somewhat worried about the latency.

will report back, grabbing the installer as I write this.

well I've managed to get it operational and reporting to the servers. I have been able to connect locally too and the server showed 10% cpu load, not too shabby. Anybody willing to help me test this a little more should drop me a message so we can get to it (perhaps IM / irc)

i suggested that for the sake of the players

not sure if your box can handle 60 player !? ( nvm , we dont need at all )

Though I do have the server running, I had a hard drive crash on my main system. Hence the delay.

seems I've misconfigured the routing, if anybody will be around in say... 8 hours from this post's time, I'll be at the server's location to adjust the forwarding and we should be ready to roll.
