Re: What games do you play on Linux?

Mmh...

- Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
- Quake Live
- Heroes of Newerth
- Savage 2 (Actually, I just installed this a few moments ago, so I have to learn to play it... big_smile I tried this about one year ago, but I didn't understand it at all, better luck this time)
- Nexuiz
- Urban Terror
- True Combat: Elite (WolfET mod, but I do not play the actual ET)
- Warcraft III - The Frozen Throne (Wine, mainly DotA, but not so often anymore because of HoN)
- Left 4 Dead (Wine, but not so much anymore, only when friends ask me to play with them)
- Counter Strike: Source (Wine, just when friends ask me to play with them)

And I recently played through Prey (native Linux client) and Wolfenstein (with Wine, that 2009 game). I mean singleplayer campaign.

I'm so happy, that I write another time here smile

I've installed COD2 with wine on a x86_64 Arch Linux (wine --version : 1.1.32), and it work flawlessly, better than on my old desktop with Windows smile

Lots of these are available in the arch-games repo FYI.

Personally, I like tremulous, nethack, uqm's ship battle mode, and lately been playing a lot of dwarf fortress

Just tried Kreiselball and it's pretty good.  Basic game, but fun.

Re: What games do you play on Linux?

Nothing really since I stopped playing WoW, but I have played Urban Terror quite successfully and enjoyed it.  Been looking at Heroes of Newerth but can't find a beta key.  sad

I will always love playing nethack, even though I usually never make it out of the Gnome Mines.

Street Fighter III - Third Strike: Mame - best 2d beat'em up ever!
Heroes of Newerth: Dota that works without wine on linux. What do you want more?
Nethack: I never get far but nevertheless it's damn addicting
Nezuix: From time to time a small deathmatch with friends
