Just discovered Steel Storm. It is a very nice looking arcade style top-down shooter. Can be played on a lan in deathmatch and coop mode too:

OOlite, Doom3 (*nix wrapper), mini Vmac, PSX, Mupen64, MAME, Eschalon ... all oldies but goodies.
