My main DE is KDE, but I've got a whole partition set aside to goof off with...and for now its XFCE. Heres a couple screens:

And yes I did notice that archey and conky are showing different RAM usage...just now. WTF is up with that?

Thanks MA and Stratoka. The GTK theme is Zukitwo, the window controls are axiomd, and the icons are Faenza. As for the conky, it was one I found a long time ago that originally had some Star Wars crapola at the top, I just pruned that off and now it's ideal The icons on it are the conkysymbols font.

I don't know how to change a main panel's color. When I changed background color to dark, buttons were still in system's color.

The buttons follow the GTK theme's settings, so you will have to edit that if you want to theme everything.

If you just want to change the appearance of the panel you could also try to create a file called .gtkrc-2.0 in your home-folder and fill it with :
style "panel-background" {
bg_pixmap[NORMAL] = ""
bg_pixmap[PRELIGHT] = ""
bg_pixmap[ACTIVE] = ""
bg_pixmap[SELECTED] = ""
bg_pixmap[INSENSITIVE] = ""
}
style "panel-color" {
fg[NORMAL] = "#999999"
fg[ACTIVE] = "#DEDEDE"
bg[NORMAL] = "#111111"
bg[PRELIGHT] = "#999999"
bg[ACTIVE] = "#333333"
}
widget_class "*Panel*" style "panel-background"
widget "*PanelWidget*" style "panel-color"
widget "*PanelApplet*" style "panel-color"
widget "*Panel*" style "panel-color"
widget_class "*Panel*" style "panel-color"
class "*Panel*" style "panel-color"
class "*Tray*" style "panel-color"
class "*tray*" style "panel-color"
And change it to your liking.

Just started using Archlinux. Really like it. Anyway here's my Xfce setup:

GTK theme: Bluebird
Xfwm theme: Bluebird
Icons: Faenza
What panels are those?

Looks to me like the Greybird xubuntu theme (AUR) and a standard color for the panel bg.

Yes, but not the Greybird theme. I used the bluebird theme.

Even with the new Xfce, I pretty much haven't changed anything appearance-wise…save for the background and some font sizes.

Back to Xfce after 4.10 release (Have been running awesome on top of Xfce for ages though)
Trying to keep it pretty, going to add conky sooner or later … :-)
Also, the application menu icon is going to be changed, of course (forgot that I just chose a random icon that wasn't the default kinda ugly one)

Style: xfce4-smooth (icons: Tango, font: DejaVu Sans 10). Compositing via Xfwm4.
Interface: Docky, Gnome Do (super+space), Conky, xfce4-panel (small,transparent,autohide for systray purposes only -> 1st screenshot)
Other apps: mpd + gmpc + scmpc, chromium, xfce4-terminal, mc, wicd, dropbox, pidgin..... and slim as login manager.
I have 2 conkys because of the difference in the update time.
there should be cpubar in the first one but i found fn+f9 shortcut kind of handy.
the second one is for fortune cookies only ;Pbless
could you share this wallpaper ?
