Xmonad on my Netbook. Only switched from awesome a few days ago, after an update broke my config (AGAIN) and I couldn't be bothered trying to find what was wrong. I'm liking Xmonad very much so far, sane defaults, very customizable

Also, the version of archey in the AUR isn't working, I'm getting an 'IndexError: list index out of range' on line 209

Could you post your colorscheme?

Back in KDE after using wmii for a while.  The Winter desktop lost its charm, though.

To my dismay, I have discovered a vast difference in the theming abilities of emacs and vim.

Re: December 2009 Screenshots - Take 3

final update for me this year. i figured out how to get 2 desktops + 1 activity going (kde 4.3.x has issues with plasma desktop and activities "breeding like rabbits" as someone said on the kde forums.)

this is main desktop, busy:
20091229-1t.jpg

clean:
20091229-2t.jpg

the second desktop is what i used to have as the main desktop, and now contains the plasmoids i'm testing:
20091229-3t.jpg

kdemod 4.3.4, plasma theme - naked, qtcurve, conky on the sides, wallpaper is a van gogh painting. a lot of transparency cool

no shots of activity desktop. i look forward to 4.4, where apparently a lot of the plasma bugs are fixed.

It's called GridSelect. Really nice thingy only seen in xmonad.

Hmm... I was working on another light terminal colorscheme, on a light background, the colors look great when  printed in blocks, but small font won't express the colors the same way. I was done with the 8 * 2 colors, time to determine the background .. then I suddenly fell back into darkness .... Yeah, it looks much better in the dark.

Ya know, with various schemes all designed to work with a dark background... Going light seems a bit "off-topic" ...

Anyway ... Let there be light ... roll ... tongue

where do those handy dandy terminal color tables come from? I see one using 'colortable' and another using 'termcolors' commands.
