Looks good. You should probably turn off hinting so that windows don't leave the background showing through.

How do you do that? I've found for awesome 2 (resize_hints) but nothing for awesome 3.

Where did you get the hypnotoad terminal program? I have seen a couple people use it before.

All hail the HYPNOTOAD!

I tried running the script and I get this error:

Can't find string terminator '"' anywhere before EOF at /home/shaun/bin/hypnotoad line 22.

Edit: fixed it by adding a terminating " at the EOF

Nice! Do you have a github account? I'm very interested in your configs (not only rc.lua, but also color schemes for vim, mc, etc.)

Thx in advance!

No, but now that you mention it I might set one up later this week. If you need any specific config just ask though wink

Ok, let's start with:

rc.lua
.Xdefaults
vim color scheme

Re: January 2010 Screenshots

My first screenshot from my new Arch Linux install, now that I've got it up and running. I finally got sick of Ubuntu not working properly and upgraded rather than waiting until I could buy a new computer (at the rate I'm going it'll take me years sad )

Desktop
tM2I4YQ

"Busy"
tM2I4OA

That's Openbox with my customised theme (it's a work in progress but I'll probably release it when it's finished)
Conky at the top
xfce4-panel at the bottom
urxvt
Sonata
Chromium
etc

Björneborg, apparently. I found it here; hopefully he doesn't mind me using it as a desktop background.
