How often do you need such an option? I think it's kind of pointless, just sounds interesting as a feature on a paper. wink

Hm, looks like Coraline if you ask me. I know that you used subtle, that's why I said this, I have a good memory. Since your try a lot has changed, the appearance a bit and the gravities too. The tagging is the same, but more options are available in the config for placement. It's just a matter of definition though.

Well I add/remove frames all the time so the undo/redo is pretty handy if I don't want to focus back to that position and split a new frame when with the same geometry I want when I could just "undo" without changing focus. Same with redo. Although this isn't always the case and I'll occasionally create new frames manually, too, I just do things backwards sometime. heh. But anyway, I was actually planning on testing Subtle again and I'll let you know how my re-experience goes in the Subtle thread. smile

P.S. Yeah, that's Coraline, but I was just referring to how much the expression on her face looks very much the same as my other screenshot's character.

Ah, well depending on the undo/redo steps this is really easy to implement, but I think it's a feature that is used because it exists and wouldn't be missed. And this is exaclty what I wanted to hear, thanks for that. Feel free, you can also just join #subtle on freenode since the thread isn't really active and used only by me as it seems. wink

I guess this will just increase the pressure for next screenshot. wink

Same old same old. Currently working on a dzen based mail notifier. It's coming along well and can be seen in the top right corner of screen one. There are normally two status bars on screen two however they hadn't finished loading when I took the screenshot.

Not bad, but is there a particular reason why you'd waste that screen space on the bottom there with info about current package versions? Kind of goes against the whole tiling WM thingie.
The [CAPS][NUM] thingie seems rather redundant too

Yeah, the package versions probably are not required but I wanted something  there to balance up my status bars. Might replace it down the track with something more useful. Maybe a rotating display of RSS feeds? Until then it's only 15 pixels. smile

I use an Apple Keyboard that has no visible numlock status so that was the reason behind the [NUM] indicator. When I think about it though I should just activate numlock permanently somehow or remap the numpad keys and remove the indicator. I never use the numpad as cursor keys and they are not labelled as such so the indicator *is* redundant. Will look into this later today.

Great feedback. Thanks.

The Original Wallpaper

this is a just a test of my automatic uploader.
I just whipped up a shell script to take a screen shot, create a thumbnail, find the wallpaper, upload all of the above to my server,
and then automatically output the bbcode links.

now all I need to do is type in one command, copy and paste the links, and I've got a screenshot smile

IT WORKS! BWAHAHAHA!

here's a link to the script in another thread: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php? … 23#p696723

Hehe, a RSS scrollie would be awesome there, yes. Do post the script if you get around to writing it, been thinking about something similar.
Also lol at the Apple keyboard. You use one in Linux, I use a PC usb one on my Mac (I despise the Apple keyboard) smile
