[SOLVED] tint2 segfaults after update

After today's tint2 update it does segfault when using these tint2rc settings:

The problem appears to be in the CLOCK section or the background color settings because with my other settings without clock and using full transparency (I use two tint2 panels) tint2 starts as usual. As yet I wasn't able to track the error down.

There is a recent bug filed upstream here which may be related. But I cannot verify this atm.

Currently I did downgrade to version 0.8-1. Yet any hint will be welcome of course.

You should probably merge the current tint2rc defaults into yours. It's changed a lot recently.

Thanks but tint2rc merging did not help. But I think I found a possible cause.

It appears tint2 0.9-1 does not allow running it without taskbar.

This is a pity because I want the clock only displayed on a darkish background while keeping other tint2 elements backgrounds fully transparent. This did work in 0.8 using the double tint2rc trick.

It doesn't segfault here but i can't get tray icons to display without graphical glitches.

I filed a bug upstream.

Edit: There is an upstream fix now, albeit I did not test it yet.

Fixed in community/tint2 0.9-2.
