Recording Input.

Hello, does anyone know any decent, working applications that can record stereo mix? Looking to capture sound from a game. Thanks

Re: Recording Input.

audacity is usually a solid choice, or potentially gnome-sound-recorder if you have gnome installed and want something a bit simpler

Re: Recording Input.

A pretty straightforward setup is qjackctl (http://www.archlinux.org/packages/?sort … =&limit=50) and timemachine (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=19773).
Just connect the application you want to record its output to timemachine in the qjackctl connections setup and hit record in timemachine.
Then timemachine dumps a wav file with that application's sound output.
