ratpoison - pretty basic setup (as in defaults). got rid of dwm, vimperator (for chromium - have i lost it?) & mpd.

i can happily use ratpoison or dwm -- they're both fine window managers -- but i would definitely say that getting rid of firefox/vimperator and mpd, in favour of chromium and cmus, is an upgrade smile so no, you haven't lost it at all!

I've seen young people waste their time reading books about sensitive vampires. It's kinda sad. But you say it's not the end of the world... Well, maybe it is!

How do you make the application menu to show in the first instance with a right click of your mouse?

@Mountainjew:

Is that AWN or Cairo at the bottom (or neither)? And I forgot that Icon theme name down there. Can I have that info? It looks good!

This is the best I have gotten so far:

I'm not that impressed with it, and know I can make it look s much better....I just have no idea about creative stuff so will have to wait until I can steal one I like.

Openbox / tint2 / conky (font = Tiza).

GTK = Human-noble. Icons = Shiki-noble. OB theme = Noble-dark. Font = Sansation / smoothansi. Wallpaper = this.

What volume control application are you using with tint2?

Here's my first desktop screenshot. (someone recommend me a better capture tool, this shot seems ugly big_smile (or maybe i'm missing some options...))

So, Openbox 3, Conkies (bottom right (the black rectangle is not really there, it's on the screenshot only big_smile) and top right corners) and an urxvt in the top left. smile

Cheers! smile

Very nice. How did you make urxvt truly transparent and as a part of your desktop? I.e. I don't see it in your taskbar....

Have you been using urxvt for a long time? I have been having some problems with it and have had trouble finding answers
