Working on a minimal OpenSolaris distribution. I call it ChromaX, GiTS tribute of course. Not a lot of stuff works. But getting there slowly.

Glad that omploader is back!

I spend most of my time in XMonad, but venture over to Xfce + Compiz on occasion.

GTK and Emerald themes are named 'Spacedust'. Icons are 'gPerfection2'.

Not much to show, Slackware64 -current, OpenBSD's cwm & Opera 6336 snapshot. Using this for a while, have no reason for changes.

I can't seem to access it from here at the moment. Thumbnail loads up just fine but the actual page / link isn't responding.

fvwm as always.

changed wallpaper (from vladstudio), fonts (terminus and VTC Komixation Hand Bold), terminal (back to urxvt from terminator), colors (thnx to jasonwryan - almost a standard these days), added compositing and a transparency module to fvwm (FvwmTransFocus)

I tend to like minimalist styles. The .Xdefaults it's a mix of Yelo (thanks!) and tangos cheme

Welcome on board... 1st time linux? If yes, this is impressive for a few days..

Re: May 2010 Screenshots

Thanks! I must confess that Linux caught me a few time ago. I'm a happy Arch user on my box.

However, this was the first time installing Linux on a laptop, and for dwm as well... it was fun and learned a lot! Still lots to do (like enable two-finger vertical scrolling, etc).

Re: May 2010 Screenshots

Okay, here's mine for this month:

Clean:
16-0014448977T.png

Busy:
15-2356253013T.png

Desktop: xfce
Windowdecoration: BBS
Colorscheme: xfce-softgrey, an own creation
Icons: Standard Rodent
Applications: cplay, mousepad, pidgin, minimized thunar
Font: Sans
Backgroundpicture: http://andrei030.deviantart.com/art/Cle … -105355371

Maybe a bit boring, but it is for working, not for impressing friends or Windows(tm)-users ;-)

Hope you like it!

What is your wifi applet ? Xfce's default wifi applet ?

Re: May 2010 Screenshots

@doby:
Yes, I liked the background and took it ;-)
I don't know, which wifi applet you mean, all applets from bottom to top:
orage-clock, xfce-menu, xfce-starter, xfce-screenshooter, network-monitor, memory- and cpu-monitor, xfce-mixer, xfce-mailwatcher, system-tray, icon-box

All of them are xfce-standard, that is one reason I like about xfce, it is small but somehow complete :-)
In the system-tray are icons of skype, pidgin and keepassx.
